World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading
Upgrades can increase the value of weapons, armors and rings. Upgrades also increase bonuses such as Crit chance and damage from PvE.
If the weapon's upgrade template ends in %, it will increase 3percent of its previous damage every time it's upgraded.
The cost for upgrading items increases when they reach the current level of the item. The cost rises with item's level.
Components
Upgrade components are items that can be slotted into weapons, armor, and trinkets in order to provide an extra stat boost or impact while they're being used. These can be obtained by crafting, buying from vendors, trading with other players, or looting. Certain upgrades also come with special cosmetic effects.
Upgrade components are only available to equipment with a slot. The item must be upgraded to a blue level before the component can be used. Upgrade components, unlike other modifications, can only be applied once. They are not able to be replaced or applied multiple times. Infusions and enrichments are a specific type of upgrade component that is designed for non-amulet ascended and legendary equipment and some of the back items that are not ascending. Infusions and enrichments are recovered by salvaging ascended gear or completing an elite mission in the Prophecies, Factions and Nightfall campaigns.
An upgrade could have a prefix or suffix that alters the name of the equipment to which it is used (for instancethe 'Canthan Armor Insignia" becomes Canthan Armor of Minor Vigor). Some upgrades increase the Mark Rarity or Level of an item, allowing players create stronger versions with the smallest amount of Upgrade crystals than they would require to achieve the same level using standard methods.
A boost upgrade can change the attack or defence characteristics of the weapon or armor. These upgrades are available to be made from the Portative Forging Station once the player completes the cutscene and defeats the Crazed Mechanical. These upgrades can be purchased by purchasing them in the cash shop or by getting them from enemies while upgrading other gear.
The player can get the maximum of five boost upgrades at a time. Each upgrade increases the chance that a higher-tier version of the item will appear in the next reset. This gives players a reason to upgrade their gear, even when they're not sure how much it will be improved following a reset.
If a boost upgrade is successful or not, the process may be expensive, and there is a high risk that the item may be obsolete or even break if it fails; a failure to upgrade can cause the destruction of the Upgrade Crystals and Assist Powder, as well as the upgraded item. Cash shop items can be used to minimize or eliminate the chance of failure. Certain upgrades also provide an additional bonus when reinserted.
Glyphs
Glyphs can be used to upgrade the Paragon Board by placing them in sockets that are specifically designed for. Glyphs boost the power of all nodes in their radius and include pre-existing affixes to equipment. Glyphs can be upgraded in numerous ways. We recommend upgrading them as fast as possible up to 15 levels.
In the endgame, you will often find that the best way to enhance your gear is by placing Glyphs. They are the only upgrade components that can be upgraded directly to level 15, and they provide an enormous boost to your power and radius on the Paragon Board, enabling you to climb higher nodes faster.
Glyphs, which is the only upgrade component which can be removed without restriction and then replaced with no restrictions, are the most common. Only legendary equipment can be salvaged and re-placed by using the help of a Black Lion Salvage Kit.
The value of each Glyph is displayed when you select it in your inventory. You can replace it with an Glyph that is of the same or higher rank to increase the value of the Glyph.
There are Glyphs in the Black Lion Trading Post, as part of an Gem Store purchase or bundle with certain unlimited-use gathering tools as well as through Faction Crypt raids. Every Faction Crypt can drop one of these Glyphs. There are also some rare glyphs you can find in any of the Faction Crypts.
Once you have obtained the desired Glyphs You will have to put them on your gear. Each Glyph unlocks a bonus that boosts the stats of a particular set of nodes within a radius around the Glyph. Based on the Glyph the bonus will be +40 to one of your primary stats or +25 to two of your secondary stats.
Using a Glyph will boost all nodes connected to it, and it is recommended to position your Glyphs near key nodes on the Graph to maximise the impact. Druids for instance should put their Glyphs close to their primary damage nodes. They may also want to consider placing them near their primary damage nodes.
Leveling
The item upgrade system allows players to boost the stats of specific items by inserting upgraded components. This is known as "upping". Each upgradeable item has a level that determines the final stats. Upgraded items can be leveled up to a maximum of 385. Each level of an item requires various components, and upgrade costs increase with each level.
Some upgrades require an ingredient to be activated. This ingredient is obtained by finishing Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be purchased from NPCs or on the upgrade tab of the crafting table. Each completed Upgrade Recipe yields a number of Technology Points. These points can be used to level up the item. Once enough points are earned, the upgrade can be claimed and the additional bonuses will be added to the item.
When item upgrader upgrades an item it is replaced by a new item of the same kind. The same armor will receive an weapon or shield when upgraded. The new item will come with a bonus of its own. This could be a disadvantage in that the item could increase in price even if you don't need it.
Upgrades to items can be rerolled if the player has enough reroll tokens in order to do so. The item will be replaced with an entirely new item that has a base of level 1 and totally different bonuses. This is a good idea but it should not be repeated often since it can waste resources.
Certain upgrades can be rerolled several times, increasing their value and allows the player to modify their equipment. One example is Dolphin's Gift, which gives an increase in power when a player is repeatedly in and out of the water (or does not swim as a dolphin). It can be upgraded multiple times, each time raising the max roll by 10 points. This item is highly useful in PvP. A properly rolled version could be worth 50 times the value of its non-upgraded counterpart.
Requirements
The item upgrade r allows players to raise the level of their equipment (armor weapons, weapons trinkets, and weapons) above ilvl385 by presenting the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades to armor set pieces also boost the defense of the base set and weapon upgrades items boost their base damage and also increase their strength and dexterity.
Each item can be upgraded up to five times, except for hero gear, which can have eight upgrades. Each time you upgrade an object, it has a chance of failing. The probability of failure increases when you exceed the maximum number. Failures will cause the item to go to its original condition, which requires the user to pay more for materials than they would had they stopped upgrading at the maximum number of upgrades.

If an item is not upgraded the experience bar in its growth bar will be reset to zero. The item also loses any bonuses it earned, such as crit chance, attack damage, or additional effects (such as an increase in healing over time or the speed of reloading). The player will be able to use their weapon or armor after the failure.
When an item is upgraded the upgrades are applied from lowest to highest. This means that the weapon that is upgraded gains a crit chance increase, the increase will be applied prior to any damage to attack increases. A new attribute known as Slots is now added to the item's definition and the value is recomputed every time an upgrade is made.
The amount of resources required to upgrade an item is determined on the rarity rating as well as the number of upgrade slots. The cost of upgrading non-premium equipment is equivalent to the value of the base item. For instance an item that is commonplace could have five upgrades for a price of. 25,600 Technology Points and a 4x Quality Improvement Chance. Hero grade items will come with an incredibly lower cost for each upgrade.
Premium items have different upgrade requirements in comparison to standard equipment. For instance, they may require fewer sowels, but they will require more minerals and erons. Regardless, the player will have to visit the NPC [Armor] Boboko in Central Flarine with each piece of equipment they wish to upgrade. In addition to the upgrade costs mentioned above, each upgrade requires a different amount of the ingredients for upgrading.
